A sunny day in Surigao – perfect time to relax “and make money of course”

It’s a great day today to make money! ha ha ha ha!

Today is a sunny day.  While I seize the day with the usual stuff i need to do, I had this sort of time to browse the internet and look for something worth the while 🙂

For me, what’s worth my while is earning some cash while taking the ease of the day.  And i would expect that you also value your time and whatever time you spent somewhere else could mean that you also spend something.  You may not be aware of (or just ignoring it) but you may be losing money in your pocket after all.

How can i make money? – you asked right?

how to make money; make money

i want to make money but how?

Whatever it is you are doing now, and if you are not making money out of it, then drop it for a while and keep on reading.

Do you know what is the value of your time?  How do you measure your time?  How much money do you think you are wasting if you do not know how much is the value of your time?

I will want to make this explained as simple as I can.  Well, even I make it a little longer writing something here that i can share with you, it will be worth my time.  Why?  I may not be earning money writing this article for you.  But! – i am sure I can help you understand in a more meaningful way why do you need to put value on your time.  Whether you are en employee, an employer or entrepreneur, part-timer, a student, a family-man or a housewife, employed or not, you need to know about this.

If you are employed, then you can find the current value of your hourly time by getting your daily wage value.  Say, if you are earning Five Hundred Pesos per day, you will have to divide it by the number of hours you are working to earn that amount.  To put that in a simple formula, it will be like this:

Php 500.00 divide 8hrs equals to Php 62.50 per hour.  What appears to be Php62.50 in the example is the value of your time on an hourly basis.

In the above example, 8 is the typical number of working hours mandated by the Philippine Laws (or you can establish what is applicable in your country if you live outside the Philippines).

If you are earning more than that, then good for you.  Some other workers may earn more or less than the example.  Either way, you still need to know how much value your time is so you can put importance on it.

If you are a student, then what you can do is to imagine that you have already graduated your college.  Imagine that you are now employed.  Set the salary that you desire to earn.  If you set it at Php 500 per hour, then its better.  But be realistic.  What’s important here is that you have set a value that is actually achievable.  Then start realizing things that you do.  Think about how you have spent your hours/days during the past weeks.  Is it worth the while?  If you have spent your free hours simply hanging around with friends, it may or maybe not productive.  It depends on what you have been doing while you are with your “Dabarkads”.  If your group is trying to make a legitimate living (earning money legally), then its okey.  But if you are just hanging around with friends just to share never-ending stories of fun, then think again.  If you have done it that way, I am sure it could have been better if you tried to help your family earn a living on your free time.

Spending moments with friends just to hang with them is OK.  But as a student, you should give priorities to much more needed things.  Who would know, your family can become 3 times richer if you are helping them to gain profits by bringing home cash from legitimate earnings.  Friend, always put in mind that it should be family first in everything that we do.  It means we should look after our own and our family’s welfare first before wasting time and its value.

Conclusion:

If you know the value of your time, then you will know if the time you are spending on one particular task is worth your while.  You will also be able to find out if you are just wasting money (same as wasting time).

Many people do not know this but if they will put value on their time, it can help them make wise decisions in life.  I will discuss more about making decisions while considering the time in next article.  Meanwhile, think about it Kaibigan.  Are you spending your time intelligently?

Meanwhile, please share this information to your loved-ones and friends so they can also make money.  You wouldn’t know that by sharing this information, you are helping them improve their lifestyle or even financial related decisions.

See you back here 🙂  Cheers!
